We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Buyer to be responsible for processing purchase orders, negotiating with suppliers, tracking orders, and Managing all PO administrative life cycle activities from purchase request up to on-time delivery.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Analyse market trends and apply this knowledge to make insightful buying decisions.
  • Build relationships with suppliers and negotiate with them for the best commercial terms.
  • Process requisitions and update management on the status of orders.
  • PO creation and approval chain follow up
  • Track orders to ensure timely delivery.
  • Arrange transport of goods
  • Assess quality of stock received and escalate any discrepancies to suppliers and management.
  • Supplier documentation communication
  • Goods receipt (in the Priority system)
  • Payment (Invoice) coordination

‍To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:

  • Purchasing experience, minimum 1 year
  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field.
  • Priority knowledge preferred
  • Excellent computer skills (Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint).
  • English, writing and speaking
  • Team player
  • High service orientation
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
