In this position you will have responsibility of small form factor battery cell assembly for R&D experiments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Machine and manual processing battery cell parts.
- Battery cell assembly from ground up.
- Running battery cells with specific procedures for each test.
- Executing continuous improvement projects with input from engineers.
- Maintaining inventory and a tidy and effective work area.
- Keep track of line yield at each step and flag issues as they occur.
To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:
- Practical Engineer (הנדסאי) in a technical field.
- Experience in assembly of complicated, small and delicate systems.
- Good technical skills.
- Good people’s skills and work ethics.
- Experience working in a glove box environment - advantage.
- Experience working in wet chemistry lab - advantage.
- Data analysis and statistics background – advantage.
- Experience working with energy storage devices – advantage.
- Experience work with Li ion cells – advantage.
- Prior work experience in startup or large companies - advantage.
