After Stunning The World With The 30-Second Smartphone Charging Battery, Nanotechnology Innovator Targets EV Demonstration In A Year
Tel Aviv, May 5, 2015 - At Microsoft’s Think Next symposium in Tel Aviv today, StoreDot announced that it will demonstrate its ultra-fast-charge five-minute car battery at this time time next year. With this new technology driver will be able to charge their car batteries in less time than StoreDot needs to explain how this cutting-edge technology works.
StoreDot specializes in technology that is inspired by natural processes, cost-effective, and environmentally-friendly. The company produces organic compounds derived from organic material that results in an increase in electrode capacitance and electrolyte performance, resulting in batteries that can be fully charged in minutes rather than hours.
“StoreDot is looking to expand to the EV (Electric Vehicle) market and take the lead in the fast-charging battery race. This is part of our larger initiative to provide consumer with a proprietary game-changing technology of fast charging batteries in the hands of smartphone users as well as drivers,” said Dr. Doron Myersdorf, CEO of StoreDot.
StoreDot is also announcing the opening of a new state of the art lab facility in Herzliya, Israel, the largest of its kind. It includes an organic chemistry lab, battery material development and R&D battery production line and much more.
StoreDot Ltd. is an innovation leader in materials and device applications, developing ground-breaking technologies based on a unique methodology for the design, synthesis, and manufacturing of organic compounds. Designed to replace known technologies with enhanced chemical, electrical, and optical properties, StoreDot’s proprietary technology, inspired by nature, can be optimized for multiple industries including fast-charging batteries in mobile devices, electric vehicles and for next generation LCD displays.
