In this position you will join our R&D team. You will be responsible for developing and synthesizing state-of-the-art materials for ultra-fast charging battery. You will perform electrochemical and chemical analysis to evaluate the performance of batteries.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Developing synthetic approaches for preparing new materials and formulations for Li-ion batteries.
Performing both “wet” and solid-state synthesis.
performing electrochemical characterization of battery electrodes and battery cells
Development of rapid screening methods for evaluating new materials and compositions
Studying the degradation mechanisms of battery electrodes
Preforming data analysis and traceability
To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:
PhD in electrochemistry, chemistry or material Science
Multi-steps syntheses, inert atmosphere reactions.
A strong background in materials characterization including work with SEM, XRD, MS, TEM, NMR, FTIR, Raman
A strong background in electrochemistry and solid state diffusion (advantage)
Knowledge of electrochemistry in organic solvents matrices (advantage)
Ability to work collaboratively with group members and internal/external colleagues
Ability to work in a team and collaborate in a multidisciplinary environment.
