Responsibility for building, expanding and managing the relations of StoreDot with potential investors and leading other related BD activities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The owner of this role will be the focal point-of contact responsible in synchronizing all the activities from the different disciplines in the company with potential investors. You will be responsible for setting development/project goals and tracking project execution. Along with potential investors and customers for StoreDot, we should introduce our XFC and XED technologies to the market by integrating them in their future EV models. We should find partnerships with companies that have plans to become a battery manufacturer and therefore our relationship might include licensing, manufacturing and supply agreements between the companies.
Our ideal candidate for this role should have an entrepreneurial mindset, financial understanding, technical background and a strong passion for innovative technology.
This position reports directly to the CBO. In this position you will be working inbound closely with R&D managers at all levels, product managers, production & engineering and outbound with the various BD relevant partners and companies you will be working with.
To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:
Familiarity with global business/deal making in general and in Asia in particular
10+ years as leading BD activities and/or strategic account management
BSc or MA in industrial engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or similar
Proven record of project management and deal making
Ability to work fluently in English is a must. Other languages are nice to have
Strong presentation skills
Excellent customer relation skills and great overall communication skills
Excellent hands-on and execution capabilities
Flexible with travelling abroad
Nice and very valuable to have:
Experience in working with EV OEMs, in front of the R&D organization in general and in the electrification field in particular is a great benefit
Knowledge in batteries
Background in energy storage chemistry or nanotechnology
