In this position you will join our energy storage R&D team. You will be responsible for developing and synthesizing state-of-the-art materials for ultra-fast charging battery. You will perform electrochemical and chemical analysis to evaluate the performance of the battery.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Developing synthetic approaches for preparing new materials and formulations for Li-ion batteries.
Performing both “wet” and solid-state synthesis.
Performing electrochemical characterization of battery electrodes and battery cells.
Development of rapid screening methods for evaluating new materials and compositions.
Studying the degradation mechanisms of battery electrodes.
Preforming data analysis and traceability.
To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:
PhD in chemistry or Organic Physical chemistry
A strong background in electrochemistry and Inorganic chemistry (advantage)
Knowledge of electrochemistry in organic solvents matrices (advantage)
Multi-steps syntheses, inert atmosphere reactions.
A strong background in materials characterization including work with SEM, XRD, MS, TEM, NMR, FTIR, Raman (advantage)
Ability to work collaboratively with group members and internal/external colleagues
Ability to work in a team and collaborate in a multidisciplinary environment.
