R&D Department-Researcher

In this position you will join our energy storage R&D team. You will be responsible for developing and synthesizing state-of-the-art materials for ultra-fast charging battery. You will perform electrochemical and chemical analysis to evaluate the performance of the battery.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Developing synthetic approaches for preparing new materials and formulations for Li-ion batteries.

  • Performing both “wet” and solid-state synthesis.

  • Performing electrochemical characterization of battery electrodes and battery cells.

  • Development of rapid screening methods for evaluating new materials and compositions.

  • Studying the degradation mechanisms of battery electrodes.

  • Preforming data analysis and traceability.

To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:

  • PhD in chemistry or Organic Physical chemistry

  • A strong background in electrochemistry and Inorganic chemistry (advantage)

  • Knowledge of electrochemistry in organic solvents matrices (advantage)

  • Multi-steps syntheses, inert atmosphere reactions.

  • A strong background in materials characterization including work with SEM, XRD, MS, TEM, NMR, FTIR, Raman (advantage)

  • Ability to work collaboratively with group members and internal/external colleagues

  • Ability to work in a team and collaborate in a multidisciplinary environment.

  • proficient in English.
